RESEARCH-USE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Waiver Agreement

The responsibilities a qualified research purchaser must understand.

Purpose and eligibility

A prospective purchaser must be 21 or older, authorized to acquire the material for a lawful research activity, and able to determine the applicable institutional requirements. Materials are intended solely for laboratory research and must not be transferred for human or animal consumption or administration.

Handling and institutional oversight

A purchaser is responsible for an appropriate risk assessment, trained personnel, facilities, equipment, storage, disposal, and any required approvals. Review the actual material documentation and relevant safety information. A catalog description, journal article, or supplier reference is not a complete experiment-specific safety assessment.

Research-use responsibility

The planned purchase acknowledgement requires responsibility for unlawful use, unauthorized transfer, or misuse attributable to the purchaser, to the extent permitted by applicable law. It does not excuse a party from obligations that cannot lawfully be waived or replace the review of an actual dispute on its facts.

Separate acceptance

This page is an explanation of the planned research-use acknowledgement. No purchase waiver is signed by browsing the catalog, saving privacy preferences, or entering the 21+ disclosure. Any binding purchase acknowledgement must be presented separately at an active checkout with its complete terms and an affirmative acceptance record. The current site has no active purchasing flow.
